  • Vendor Partners must be members of SC.GMIS for the membership year July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011 by the day of the workshop. Vendor Partners may send up to two staff members to each workshop at no cost. No marketing is allowed during the workshop, as this is a privilege that is reserved for the workshop sponsor.

The 2012 SC.GMIS Network and Telecom Workshop, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 18, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., will be held at the Saluda Shoals River Center in Columbia, S.C., and will feature a full day's agenda of networking, discussions and sharing of information.

This always popular event will focus on a variety of key information technology and telecommunications issues. Topics to be covered include:

  • Cell Phone Security and Forensics
  • BYOD... Implementing a "Bring Your Own Device" Policy
  • Cloud Hosted VoIP: Benefits, Choices and Migration
  • Information Security Primer and the Three Most Common Attacks

Please note that a continental breakfast featuring Chick-Fil-A biscuits and a mouth-watering lunch catered by Dimmler's will be provided.

As with all of our workshops, SC.GMIS members may attend for free! Non-SC.GMIS members are required to pay a $50 registration fee, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch as well. Please note that you must be a current member as of the date of the workshop to attend for free.

Please keep in mind that registration is limited to the first 100 attendees, so register today!
