  • Vendor Partners must be members of SCGMIS for the membership year 2016 by the day of the workshop. Vendor Partners may send up to two staff members to each workshop at no cost. No marketing is allowed during the workshop, as this is a privilege that is reserved exclusively for the workshop sponsor.

The 2016 Software Developers Workshop, scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 21 , from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., will be held at the Saluda Shoals River Center in Columbia, S.C., and will feature a full day of networking, discussions and sharing of information.

Our first event of the new year will focus on a variety of software development issues. Topics to be discussed include:

  • Microsoft Development with Azure

  • Scalable Web Applications Using Micro Services Architecture and Open Source Software

  • Mobile App Development using Xamarin

As with all of our workshops, SCGMIS members may attend for free! PMI Charleston and PMI Midlands members pay a special rate of $50 to attend (using the registration code "partner," while non-SC.GMIS members may attend for a $75 registration fee.

Don't forget... Workshop participants also receive a total of 6 PDUs for attending! A continental breakfast will be provided as will a catered lunch.
